Winning the ‘Best Indian Single Malt’ at the World Whiskies Awards 2024.
Tokyo Whisky & Sprits Competition 2023
Indri Single Malt Indian Whisky- Trini: The Three Wood.
The Fifty Best has once again shined its spotlight on World whisky by hosting a tasting where contenders were evaluated for the distinguished “Best World Whisky” awards of 2022. The Fifty Best is very pleased to announce that Indri Single Malt Indian Whisky was awarded a Gold medal.
Using professional criteria, the pre-qualified panel of judges blind-tasted the World whiskies and rated them individually on a 1-5 point scoring system with 5 being the highest. After tallying the scores, medals were awarded based on the judges' impressions.
This must-try Indian whisky comes from a village distillery running on renewable energy in the foothills of the Himalayas. Former Amrut master blender Surrinder Kumar demonstrates his unerring sense of balance, pace, and control over the fast-maturing single malt, which is distilled from organically grown six-row Indian barley indigenous to Rajasthan.
Flavors of vanilla, citrus peel, baked peach, hazelnut, and cassis attest to the complex contributions from the first-fill bourbon, French wine, and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks
Category Winner 2022 / Best Indian Single Malt
The World Whiskies Awards commend the best whiskies in 16 categories covering style and production methods. The first round of blind tastings is judged by independent spirits experts. From their scores, a winner is selected for each category and country, and gold, silver and bronze medals awarded. Each country winner then competes in round two for the title of World's Best in each category.
The tasting and awards are executed by the Whisky Magazine, an international publication covering whiskies from around the world.
The competition is founded on a rigorous and independent judging process, which serves to encourage the high calibre of spirits, designs and campaigns entered into the competition each year. Receiving thousands of entries from nearly 70 countries worldwide makes the ISC a truly global competition. It is supported by many of the world's leading spirits producers as the international standard for quality and excellence. Winning an ISC award is indeed an impressive achievement for any spirit that passes the scrupulous blind assessment from our experienced panel of specialist judges.
The International Whisky Competition@ is the world's most-followed whisky competition. The mission was to create a true competition by offering only 3 medals per category, just like in the Olympics or any other real competition. The Goal is to bring the best whiskies from around the world to be tasted and rated by our professional tasting panel. Unlike other competitions, since 2015, the judges are presented with one whisky at a time, to ensure each whisky gets the proper attention. In-depth notes are taken at every step for review.

A Competition held every year in the entertainment capital of the world " Las Vegas". The judging process, itself, is conducted as a 100% blind tasting process from the early rounds all the way through the sweepstakes rounds. During the competition, all the spirits in their respective and specific sub-categories are sampled together as flights, carefully evaluated from color to finish, and scored by each one of our spirits judges on that flight. The 2022 Judges included industry experts like Steve Beal, Joseph V. Micallef, Sam Filmus, Karina Sanchez, Brigid Mannarino, Allisa Henley, Julie Lee and Colin.
It is matured in ex-sherry, ex-bourbon and French oak casks so unsurprisingly there's a lot going on- berry fruits and red peanuts, lemon, grapefruit and tropical notes, all held in place by freshly shaved wood tannins and soft spice.![](images/quote2.png)
