Shaped by India's Distinct Terroir

The visionary who inspired Founder’s Reserve
Pt. Kidar Nath Sharma was destined to be an entrepreneur. Born in 1927 in Lassoi, Punjab, to a family of Silk Route traders, Mr. Sharma graduated from Mohinder College at the young age of 19. With a modest sum from his parents, he established his first alcohol distribution business under the name of Kidar Nath Sharma and Sons, working tirelessly to achieve his dreams.
A visionary leader, Mr. Sharma achieved extraordinary feats in his life that set the stage for generations to come. He laid the foundation of the Piccadily Group, a business that now encompasses a variety of industries, including alcoholic beverages, hospitality, media and entertainment. Not only was he a successful businessman, but Mr. Sharma also believed in giving back, supporting the community, and was loved by all who knew him.
His unwavering pursuit of excellence and larger-than-life presence continue to shape everything the Piccadily Group does, making it one of India’s foremost business empires.
This expression is our tribute to Pt. Kidar Nath Sharma and the remarkable legacy that he built — a legacy that continues to inspire generations after him.
