quaint village, nestled amidst the
Himalayan foothills but also the home of our distillery.
Set within India’s lush agricultural heartland, Indri’s fields and maturation warehouses share their space with
the
majestic peacock, a symbol of nature’s unfettered grace. This region shaped for over 2,500 years by the ancient route
from Teknaf to Kabul, where traders, armies, and cultures once converged carries a legacy of abundance, colour and
festivity.
It is from this rich confluence of nature, heritage and terroir that Indri draws its unmistakable complexity,
depth and smoothness.

What began as a vision to create a world-class Indian single malt has grown into a
movement. A celebration of India’s barley, its climate, its craft and its spirit.
At the heart of Indri stands our distillery, powered by Indian-made Scottish-style copper pot stills, designed to coax out light,
floral
and delicately fruity new-make spirits.
Three towering wash stills and three spirit stills work in harmony, producing 30,000 liters
daily and scaling up to an impressive 10
million liters annually. Every drop reflects a commitment to authenticity and craft.
The spirit starts with traditional Indian six-row barley, a grain deeply rooted
in our agricultural heritage. Its higher protein and husk
content imparts richness, depth and complexity.
Here, nature plays its part with equal intensity.
Northern India’s subtropical climate.consisting of scorching summers at +50°C, crisp
winters near 0°C, and monsoon humidity.
create a dramatic dance inside each oak barrel. The rapid expansion and contraction extract
flavours with unmatched vigour.
Though this leads to a higher angel’s share of 10–12%, it also yields whiskies bursting with bold,
expressive character.
Our inaugural expression, Indri Trini made history as India’s first Triple Cask Single Malt. Matured across three distinct casks – Ex- Bourbon, Ex- French Red Wine and PX Sherry that were crafted with precision by our Master Blender to showcase the uniqe character of each wood.
Since then, Indri has continued to push boundaries byexploring cask finishes, celebrating festivals, collaborating with global icons, and crafting limited editions that collectors cherish. Every expression is a new chapter in our story, yet grounded in the same essence: innovative, sensory, and unmistakably Indian.
Dru is a cask strength expression from Indri, where selected ex-bourbon barrels are handpicked and married together by our master blender to offer you an experience that will awaken your senses. In Sanskrit, ‘Dru’ means wood, tree or a vessel made of wood. In ancient Indian mythology, Dru was a vessel in which ‘soma’ (a drink) was collected and offered to the Gods.
